A Sweet Legacy Built for Glen Allen
It was love at first sight. As a former chef with a passion for food and community, I remember the first time I saw this magical “Shaved Snow” on social media. I was instantly captivated—not just by the name, but by this unique creation. How could I possibly get a taste of something so different? After diving into the story behind Vampire Penguin Shaved Snow & Desserts, I saw an opportunity to bring this experience to Virginia.
Determined to build a legacy for my children and family, I laid out my plan over a lunch date with my wife (and business partner) right in the middle of the pandemic. It didn’t take long before we were all in, and the journey began. I flew to Florida to meet other family-owned Vampire Penguin locations and, after tasting our signature menu options, I knew this was it.
That’s how we found our home here in Twin Hickory, Glen Allen, a quaint West End community, and opened our 1100-square-foot shop. The rest, as they say, is history.
